Oh yeah i totally missed mentioning this, we finally have a place in the City to hold the meet *jumps with Joy* We met at St. Joseph's PU Evening College on Church Street. It brought back good old memories of college *Tears welling up* I MISS COLLEGE. Of course i do, My college was on a Beach......Yeah i see all of you writhing with Jealousy *evil grin*
Now to the Shows..........
We started the day with Karas and my Apologies to all who are reading that is all you are gonna get out this, well i basically almost slept through the show *grins sheepishly* alright alright...lets see if I remember anything. I have a feeling this was a crucial episode. There was a lot of blood and gore.....people killing people........the one that i remember the most is that Nue goes to Ekou's lair to find his brother and he ruptues the chambers holding the bodies of the the Karas's Yurine and Eko. You might be wondering what a yurine is, well it is essentially a being is formed as a part of the contract established between the Human and the City which he protects, he must obey the Yurine at all points. Anyway not that I have dwelt into the story most of it is coming back to me now, the Karas that we all admire turns out to be a hit-man of sorts...ironic huh, one who killed now protects. While we were discussing the episode everyone kept mentioning how it was funny that everyone keep saying that Otoha, which is the Karas's real name by the way, does not feel pain or fear. I suppose becoming a Karas would be been an ideal choice of profession for him. Alright that is all i am going to say about KARAS......NO MORE PLEASE NO MORE.......
Now comes my favourite show, Mononoke.........this week we started a new arc .The episode begins with a shot of a woman falling down on train tracks.....not slipping and falling like actually falling from the sky or something...but off an over bridge. Then there is the launch of the Subway by the major of the city or something, now this is one thing that you will note once you watch the episode, there seem to be mannequins but here is the thing, like always mononoke has to do the most different thing......which is why I like it. Only the important characters are animated and the rest of them have been drawn as mannequins.....the subway train moves towards its destination and at some point on route the train stops.....and the Five characters who we have been introduced to have all moved to the first car in the train.....they all wonder how they got there and what happened. The women in the car decide to leave but the door does not budge, the Mayor being most gracious helps them open the Door and sees that there is nothing left of the train besides the car they are in, the train moves and the Mayor is gone....poooffff.......everyone is wondering just what happened to him and then Rahul (the one for the US) shows us the mayor plastered against the wall, which all of us missed, perhaps he was not sleeping after all. Well we did sleep through Karas. OK now about mononoke. well at this point Enter the Apothecary. We find that they are able to enter the car from outside but cannot leave it. The Apothecary tries to find the connection between them and the reason as to why they are all here. It seems that there was one, a Girl who happens to be a junior to the reporter who is one among the people present in the car, however there is this one guy who says he knows nothing about what they are talking about and wants to leave *mmmhhhhh, very suspicious* in the meanwhile the apothecary does his thing and the little scale thingys attach themselves to the roof and just before the end of the show signal the entrance of the Mononoke, which the Apothecary says is the Bakeneko.......ohhhh ominous........
We ended the day with Kurozuka, where Kuro is still on his mission to find Kuromitsu and while doing that seem to keep dreaming us the past and hallucinating about things in the present. we see a flashback where kuromitsu and he go to a field of flowers and since the flowers are luminescent call it "phosphorescence" wow....innovative huh?? and then he hallucinates that the statue of a horse in the room is coming to life with hands to grab him.......ok i am not going to put you through any more pain...i end talking about the episode here..........
Well this was all for now.....people you must come to the meet....i am sure its closer now......
Until next time....
